The Fuel Cycle and Materials Regulation Office is primarily responsible for the safety regulation of radioactive materials in Taiwan. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, we diligently carry out the following tasks:
Safety regulation and inspections for the, export, storage and transportation of radioactive materials.
Conducting public hearing for the construction applications of radioactive waste facilities.
Reviewing and licensing the construction, operation, and decommissioning (or closure) of radioactive materials facilities.
Actively engaging in international cooperation to enhance safety regulation measures.
