Memorandum of Understanding Between the Interchange Association and the Association of East Asian Relations for the Mutual Cooperation in the Field of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Regulation in the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy
Signed in November, 2014, this MOU provides Atomic Energy Agency (NSC), Taiwan and Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA), Japan a channel for discussion and exchange of information in the fields of nuclear safety and radiation protection, including lessons learned from nuclear accidents, upgrading of safety, earthquakes and tsunamis, materials performance, radiation protection, crisis communication, emergency management, notification of nuclear accidents, emergency preparedness and response, radioactive waste management, nuclear facility decommissioning. Based on this MOU, NSC and NRA hold annual meeting in turn to share with each other the regulatory experience and relevant progress over the past year.
