To facilitate Taiwan's participation in international cooperation related to nuclear energy, Nuclear Safety Commission (NSC) proactively signs nuclear energy-related agreements and memoranda, joins international academic research projects, and engages in the international exchanges in the field of nuclear energy. By means of the above-mentioned cooperation, NSC integrates international information on nuclear energy to learn the experience and expertise from countries with advanced nuclear technology and to reinforce Taiwan's nuclear regulatory capabilities.

In order to stay abreast the latest information in the field of the nuclear energy in advanced countries and to coordinate with international organizations in timely manner, NSC stations representatives in the United States, France, Austria, and Japan to fulfill missions that include liaising and signing cooperation agreement with foreign official institution and national laboratories, co-hosting the nuclear energy-related conferences, establishing the liaising channel with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to facilitate communication to Taiwan’s nuclear material and safeguard regulation, approaching nuclear organizations (such as the Nuclear Energy Agency, OCED/NEA) and non-governmental organizations (such as the American Nuclear Society, ANS), collecting the international nuclear policy trends, nuclear power plant operation and regulations, and summarizing real-time nuclear energy news for our reference.

Since the diverse nature of international exchange activities, the distinguished aspects of the “  Introduction,” “  Bilateral Agreement,” “  Multilateral Cooperation,” “  Brief of Societies,” “  JSCCNC Meeting,” “  NSC/NRC Bilateral Technical Meeting,” and “  International Cooperative Activities” illustrates the signed agreements and memoranda with advanced nuclear technology countries and nuclear-related organizations, international cooperate projects participation and international nuclear energy exchange activities, as well as implementation of international nuclear non-proliferation safeguard regulations.
