The Nuclear Safety Commission (NSC), established at the ministerial level under the Executive Yuan, is the sole authority within the Central Government directly overseeing atomic energy related affairs. NSC's mission is two-fold: to develop and enforce regulations, and to conduct R&D of nuclear technology.
