Event Highlights:

The Deputy Representatives Takashi HATTORI and Gen KAWAI, together with officials from Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association Taipei Office visited NSC in the morning of July 28th, 2025. Vice Chairperson Shin CHANG extended congratulations to the Deputy Representative Gen KAWAI on his new appointment, and expressed her gratitude to the Deputy Representative Takashi HATTORI for his past support and assistance.

 

During the meeting, the Japanese side expressed its willingness to continue keeping the Taiwanese side informed on the timely updates concerning the discharge of Fukushima Daiichi ALPS treated water, and both sides look forward to continuing exchanges on the nuclear safety and the radiation safety regulation in the future.
